  1. Place cheese in between two tortillas.
  2. Place in frying pan over medium flame

  4. Cut into pieces and serve with guacamole and/or salsa

Easy Guacamole Recipe

  1. 2 avocados
  2. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  3. 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  4. 1 ripe tomato, chopped
  5. 1 lime, juiced
  6. salt and pepper to taste

Directions: Peel and mash avocados in a medium serving bowl. Stir in onion, garlic, tomato, lime juice, salt and pepper. Season with remaining lime juice and salt and pepper to taste. Chill for half an hour to blend flavors.


Easy Tomato Salsa

Add in chopped Jalapeno peppers to taste.

Variation: Saute all ingredients in a frying pan with a little bit of oil on a medium flame for 5 minutes.


Easy Tostada Salad Bowl

Place tortilla in between 2 large ladles
Place in deep fryer until crisp.
Fill with your favorite salad.

Fry tortilla flat until crisp
Pile your favorite salad on top


Easy Totopos Recipe

Cook Time: 10 minutes, tops

Ingredients (serves two as a snack):
6 toritllas de maiz (corn tortillas)
cooking oil

(optional, to serve the totopos with)
refried beans
or a good salsa (pico de gallo works well)

1. Take the tortillas and cut them into 1/8th “pie” slices.
2. Heat up your cooking oil in a pan, then deep fry your tortilla slices until they’re crispy (should only take about 15 seconds per side)
3. Remove them to a paper toweled plate, to remove the excess oil from each of the fried tortilla chips.
4. Sprinkle a little salt on them.
5. Enjoy!
